Who Am I?

Hi, I'm Adrienne.

I'm a creative business mentor, former primary school teacher and the founder of The Creative Workshop Mentor.

I help creative people turn their skills into workshops that people love to attend. Whether you're dreaming of teaching your very first workshop, looking to fill your calendar more consistently or wondering how to grow beyond teaching every weekend, I'm here to help you build a workshop business that works for your life.

My journey into workshops started in an unexpected way.

After spending years teaching in primary schools, I became a mum to two little boys and found myself craving a creative outlet that was just for me. I discovered arm knitting, started sharing it with friends and soon found myself running workshops across the country. What began as a hobby grew into a business that reached hundreds of thousands of people online, allowed me to teach thousands of workshop attendees and completely changed the direction of my career.

But the thing I loved most wasn't the knitting, it was teaching.

Watching someone walk into a room feeling nervous and leave a few hours later feeling proud, capable and inspired never got old. That's when I realised I wasn't just helping people make beautiful things, I was helping them discover what they were capable of.

As my workshop business grew, other creative business owners started asking the same questions:

How do you find venues?

How do you price your workshops?

How do you fill them?

How did you turn this into a business?

That's why I created The Creative Workshop Mentor.

Today, I combine over 15 years of teaching experience with everything I've learned from building my own creative business to help other makers, artists, florists, potters, bakers, photographers and lots of other creatives build workshop businesses with confidence.

My mentoring is practical, honest and tailored to you. I'll help you cut through the overwhelm, focus on what really matters and create a business that feels sustainable, profitable and genuinely enjoyable to run.

Because I don't believe success is about being the busiest person in the room. It's about creating a business that gives you the freedom to do more of what you love.

If that sounds like the kind of business you're hoping to build, I'd love to help you get there.
